Job Title Epic Principal Trainer Job Description There are five different modules needed: CPOE, Beacon, ASAP, Home Health, and Tapestry. The Principal Trainer is responsible for mastering both an Epic application and the health system's operational workflows. This position will specialize in one or more applications and take the lead in the development and implementation of the training program for their respective application(s). If not already certified, the Principal Trainer will attend Epic application training and must satisfy certification requirements. The Principal Trainer is responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the training environment, as well as developing and maintaining training materials. This position reports to the Training Manager, and works closely with Credentialed Trainers and Application Managers to achieve the goal of providing training and building & maintaining training environments. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) Bachelor's degree required. Prior experience in Principal Trainer role required. Four years of experience designing and delivering software training curriculum for large healthcare systems is preferred. Knowledge of adult learners and teaching principles. Expert knowledge of healthcare industry. Information Technology experience preferred. Prior experience testing and training on Epic Systems required. What you need to know - There are five different modules needed: CPOE, Beacon, ASAP, Home Health, and Tapestry. - The most urgently needed module is Orders, followed by Beacon, ASAP, and finally Home Health and Tapestry. - This position is based on Fort Worth, Texas. - This is a three-month contract-to-hire position. However, client will consider permanent candidates, as well as contractors. - For full-time candidates that will be relocating, there is a relocation bonus paid on a case-by-case basis. It is a $2,000 lump sum paid on the first paycheck.
