Primary Purpose of Position Provides support for the following and provide variance analysis and determine cause of change. Scope includes the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, monthly actuals, plan and forecast, and monthly reporting and analysis, monthly actual package, monthly forecast package, overall monthly financial package, annual operating plan, strategic plan processes. Essential Functions Compiles financial data and prepares reports for distribution to management. Actively participates in monthly accounting close and provides limited support to plants as part of the month end process. Participates in the preparation of annual operation's budgets, forecasts, and other financial analysis. Coordinate with internal business partners as well as corporate and plant finance teams in the preparation, implementation, and compliance of management reporting and analysis requirements. Drive enhancements in financial reporting and analysis as well as requisite system requirements. Assists in preparation and analysis of product cost, and customer profitability. Provides technical support and coordinates use of Microsoft Dynamics for BMP operations. May be required to assist plants in specific accounting issues or problem resolution. Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility. Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts. While the regular working cycle of this position is usually 5 days (Monday-Friday), this job may include working weekends (Saturday and Sunday), working hours may vary as specified by management. Incumbent must be able to work overtime on a regular basis and/or be on call as directed by management. Regular and predictable attendance is required between the assigned start and end times of work. Assures and maintains safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations. Four year degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative disciplines preferred 1 to 3+ years of experience in the FP&A function at a multinational company, preferably in the packaging, and or Manufacturing industries. Working knowledge of the following areas: Advanced accounting principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures. PC applications, including Excel,Word, and Powerpoint. Computer applications of general ledger and MRP. Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner. Organization- Must be able to organize, plan, and prioritize. Ability to meet deadlines, concentrate, and pay attention to details. Ability to analyze and interpret data. Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills.
