Our agricultural equipment manufacturing Company is looking for a key contributor to join their development team as an Embedded Software Engineer in their Des Moines, IA area. This Engineer will design new products from initial definition through the product release. Key Responsibilities: Expand board support packages for our embedded products. Develop embedded Linux systems as well as microprocessor based systems with and without an RTOS. Isolate and debug embedded hardware and software issues. Salary: $55-68k + 10% bonus Job Qualifications: Bachelors in Computer, Electrical or Software Engineering. Strong knowledge of embedded systems including: development firmware and drivers for embedded Linux and RTOS devices. Linux background a plus. Advanced embedded design skills. Proficient in C, C++ and operating systems. Understanding of hardware and interfaces. Yocto platform development experience. Grit and Perforce control systems. ARM and Other processor and microcontroller experience.
