Job Title: Analyst, Operations II Security Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance Work Week: Monday to Friday Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm Flexible Hours: YES, Flexible Work Location: Newport, Rhode Island 02840 Position Overview: This position will support our customer in NUWC in the creation, management, maintenance of an effective Quality Assurance (QA) Program within the department. Important Information: Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance is required; candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance are preferred. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for maintaining compliance with current Quality Assurance standards. Specific tasking may include updating QA documents, reports, etc., making recommendations for improvement to existing QA processes. • Will ensure that the department work processes are conducted are performed to provide the best quality product to the customers while adhering to all QA regulations • Will be the QA subject matter expert and will be spearheading all the departments QA undertakings (inspection, audit, testing, etc.) POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • US Citizen • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; candidates currently possessing an Active Secret clearance preferred • Bachelor’s degree o 1.5 years of experience may be substituted for 1 year of formal education • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance work, preferably in QA program management/oversight • Must have a valid U.S. driver's license • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written).
