Location: Houston, Texas Creswick Petroleum is one of the world's leading E&P companies, with approximately 2,000 employees working in countries around the world. We explore, produce and transport crude oil and natural gas; refine, market and distribute fuels. Creswick Petroleum is accepting online applications for the position of Senior Toolpusher. Qualified candidates will be required to successfully pass all Creswick Petroleum onboarding requirements, including drug testing, fit for duty testing and background checks. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: The Toolpusher is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the drilling rig. He/she ensures full compliance with all mandatory company, client, state, and federal rules and regulations that relate to the location and relocation of the platform drilling rig as well as maintenance, repairs and drilling for oil and gas in offshore waters. This includes the safe welfare of all company and contract personnel on board. In addition the Senior Toolpusher ensures successful completion of all preventative maintenance activities and projects are completed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. The Senior Toolpusher must ensure good, open communication with the Company Representative to which the rig is contracted. Although each Employee and contract hand working on the drilling rig ultimately reports to the Senior Toolpusher, the Senior Toolpusher directly supervises the Toolpusher, Rig Safety and Training Advisor, Driller and Crane Operator. The Senior Toolpusher provides overall direction and management of safe, efficient and economical drilling operations on the rig. Required Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required unless satisfactory knowledge and skills have been demonstrated for the position applied for with management’s approval. Professional Experience: • Physical and cognitive ability to perform the responsibilities of this position. • Advanced level of mechanical knowledge of drill equipment, ability to recognize signs of kick and loss of fluid situations as well as the procedures for circulating kick out.
