VMWare Systems Administrator - Secret Clearance

OVERVIEW Serve as a VMWare Systems Administrator (SA) administratively and functionally, for our client with support provided at Ft. McNair, Washington DC responsible for managing the functionality, performance, maintenance and overall cybersecurity posture Windows-based servers supporting our client's enterprise operations with an emphasis on virtual systems management in a VMWare environment. GENERAL DUTIES Responsible for providing technical support associated with the administration of servers running Windows operating systems in both a physical and VMWare-based virtual environment, and supported application software to include installing, administering, operating, maintaining, updating, troubleshooting and securing. Ensure compliance with Command Cyberspace Readiness Inspection (CCRI) criteria across the enterprise to include establishing and maintaining a near real-time single presentation of our client's CCRI position Exercise sound judgement in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria associated with obtaining results under this contract; and identify upgrade needs, and anticipate customer requirements by effectively planning, scheduling, and overseeing system upgrades. Evaluate and recommend use of software, guidelines, procedures, and development of project plans to offer prompt resolution options, patch management, version control and administrative systems expertise Interact with both customer and contract leadership relating complex technical issues/solutions in a manner to establish a partnership Improve the customer's operating environment by providing expert support while also maintaining the cybersecurity/IA posture of systems/hardware managed/administered for our client Successfully complete all training requirements as assigned or as necessary by the
