Alliance Urgent Care is currently looking for an enthusiastic Physician (MD or DO) to provide high level patient-centered care in an urgent care setting. This role will include involvement in clinical research activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS In this role, the Physician will be responsible for the provision and management of direct patient care. Responsibilities physical exams, patient evaluations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment. Administration of therapeutic procedures such as I&D, splinting, suturing, infection management, and wound care. Documentation/charting of patient information will be completed in line with all current and applicable policies and procedures. Development and implementation of patient management plans; assist in provision of continuity of care including referrals to specialists, physical therapy, etc. Communicate with patients regarding test results and follow-up care. Prescribes pharmaceutical and other treatment regimens, as appropriate, to treat medical conditions. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS Involvement in all aspects of the clinical research program integrated within Alliance Urgent Care. The Physician will work with the Study Coordinator(s) to perform required procedures, assessments and/or evaluations for current and future research studies. JOB REQUIREMENTS M.D. or D.O. U.S. Board Certified with active Arizona Medical License Excellent communication skills Ability to positively interact with patients, clinic staff, Sub-Investigators and Study Coordinator(s) Urgent Care experience is a plus
