HR Administrator

Position Function The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible to provide general HR support such as full cycle recruitment, on-boarding and orientation, training coordination and tracking, HRIS maintenance, benefits administration, and payroll back up. Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Full cycle recruitment of salaried and hourly open positions – this includes posting internal and external job postings, screening resumes, scheduling and participating in interviews, scheduling assessments, references checks, and extending job offers. •Orientation and Onboarding – Ensure hiring managers are prepared for all new hires, enter new hire information into HRIS system, and ensure each new hire is completes all orientation and new hire steps. •Training – Review, track, schedule, research and recommend appropriate training course and programs as appropriate. Lead internal training as needed. •Reporting – Review and compile monthly reports for communication to the organization. •Payroll and Benefits Backup – Learn and process payroll and benefits in order to provide coverage when necessary. •Work as part of the HR/HSE team on special projects and initiatives, as required. •Other responsibilities may be assigned as warranted to support achievement of business goals. Skills/Experience Requirements Experience •2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a field services environment. •Basic awareness and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations as it relates to Human Resources. •Strong MS Office suite skills. •Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate even complex ideas and concepts in a concise, simple, and actionable manner. •An energetic self-starter who takes initiative, owns responsibilities, establishes strong working relationships and is adaptable to growing and changing environments. •Professionalism, tact and discretion are critical to this role. •Strong organization and decision making ability. •Good presentation skills. •Good analytical and problem solving skills. •Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Education Requirements Post-secondary education in human resources or related field •A record of continuing education in human resources and business related topics is desirable
