Strong Angular 4/6 Developer with solid TypeScript and REST Looking for a UI Specialist in every sense of the word. They’ll be working on an application that has been in place a running for some time. What they’ll be doing is re-writing that APP. From Angular 1.X to latest version (5/6). Re-factoring code to make it pure UI, taking out backend logic (that is where Java comes in). Back end Java knowledge is great to have. Now using GoCD – updating from Jenkins. Team is currently doing it. Just need to be familiar and comfortable in a DevOps environment. Main focus is re-writing the APP and getting it up and running. AWS is nice to have. Good selling point if they have it. If they don’t they will get to be in an environment with it. The APP: Real time monitoring system that maintains and provides operations status of LSA (segmented advertising platform). Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support a graphical user interface for products and programs. Gathers requirements, creates specifications and develops code. Designs and writes codes to support existing applications. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., C, C++ language programming, XMotif programming interfaces and GUI API packages). Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
