Job Title: NIBIN Class Trainer Level II Security Clearance Required: Must be able to pass Agency background check Work Week: Monday to Friday Hours: 7:00am – 4pm Flexible Hours: Not Flexible Work Location: Huntsville, AL 35808 Position Overview: A Class Trainer Level II (NNCTC) shall have the experience and ability to teach approved NIBIN Classes. The candidate must have the ability to provide support to the Training Center and NIBIN User Account Maintenance. The candidate shall have excellent customer relations skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, team members and NIBIN Sites/users. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate shall have the experience and ability to: • Become an ATF Certified NIBIN Trainer; • Plan, Complete and present complex projects and learning plans; • Work with and Coordinate efforts of local, state and Federal law enforcement; • Be capable of being certified to train NIBIN Users in classes including: • Acquisition of Cartridge Cases; • Correlation Review; • Triaging of Ballistic Evidence; • NIBIN Authorized Trainer (NAT). POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • US Citizen only; • Ability to pass Agency Background check; • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or possession of an equivalent combination of formal education, work experience and on the job training; • Two (2) years of experience with local, State or Federal law enforcement in a relevant area is preferred; • Ability to identify and overcome obstacles to established work plans; • Must be a self-starter; ability to work with minimal direction; • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; Excel, Power Point, WORD, and VISIO; • Ability to interact with all levels of management and co-workers; • Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
