Position Overview: The NNCTC NIBIN Level I is primarily to support services performing image and correlation reviews. They should also have the technical ability to enter data into various formats and databases. This position requires the technical capability to apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed and in searching for interpreting, selecting or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources. They also must possess the skill and technical ability to analyze, summarize, report, and share information. Must have the technical capability to work as a team and have strong customer service skills. Responsibilities: The primary duty is to be able to perform image and correlation reviews to determine possible leads. This service will be performed on the Integrated Ballistic Identification Systems (IBIS) equipment. All NNCTC NIBIN Technicians must be able to successfully pass the acquisition and NNCTC correlation review training and any necessary follow up competency testing. This training will be provided by the government. Additionally, they shall perform quality control review of images for NIBIN Partner sites. Candidate must be able to: • Enter data into spreadsheets • Enter data and updating charts and reports • Perform image and correlation reviews upon training • Produce basic analytical products. • Summarize information in writing • Establish rapport with others to accomplish objectives Additionally, upon completion of training Candidate may be tasked with: • Assisting with training • Assisting with Acquisition of Entries into IBIS Equipment Requirements: •U.S. Citizen •Valid U.S. Driver’s License •B.S. Degree from accredited college or university preferred. Combination of formal education, work experience and on the job training will be considered. •General experience with local, Stat, or Federal law enforcement is preferred, but not required. •Must pass a pre-employment background ck which includes: credit criminal and DMV •Must be clearable; able to successfully complete the ATF clearance process •Must be willing to provide a DNA sample as part of employment screening •Ability to work with and coordinate the efforts of local, State, and Federal law enforcement •Must be able to work shift work (The Center operates 24/7 in 8 hour shifts) •Ability to analyze, summarize, report, and share information. •Working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications and software. •Must successfully pass the competency testing for acquisitions and correlations review after being trained to perform image and correlation reviews on NIBIN equipment •Occasional travel “VEVRAA Federal Contractor” Three Saints Bay, LLC and its subsidiaries offer a diverse, team-oriented working environment and the opportunity to work with exceptional dedicated industry professionals.
