Business Intelligent Developer Specialist Healthcare IT: Business Intelligence Developer Livonia, MI Full-time This is a contract-to-hire or contract position. Client prefers a local candidate but will accommodate a traveling resource if they meet the job requirements Responsible for defining, designing, and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) technologies and services to enable the analysis of data to support strategic initiatives and ongoing business requirements Develops business intelligence solutions using Business Objects, Qlikview and Tableau technologies. Assists in the development of an enterprise analytical and self-service/ ad-hoc reporting environment. Assists the BI Specialist in leading the business intelligence solution development life-cycle, development of BI standards, templates and procedures. Possess a deep understanding of our customers and how they are using data to drive their business and achieve their goals. Serve as a mentor to entry BI developers in assisting to create a sustainable analytics ecosystem. Required skills & experience (the "must haves" to be considered) - Bachelors degree in healthcare or information technology - 5 years minimum experience in IT - Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a BI developer in a large data warehouse and business intelligence environment - Experience working with BI technologies such as Business Objects, Cognos, Qlikview and Tableau -Tools: Erwin, Tableau, SQL, INFA, DMT, Java, HTML5, BO, BO Universe, BO SDK, Python, Materialized Views, Hadoop, Data Lake Tools -Strong experience with different data modeling methodologies including STAR, Snowflake and 3NF - US citizen or green card holder
