Client prefers a local candidate, but will accommodate a traveling resource if they meet the job requirements Summary The Business Intelligence Developer Specialist is responsible for the development, testing, and documentation of complex BI stack solutions to support strategic initiatives and ongoing clinical requirements to support organization effort to establish clinical excellence standards and measures. This position requires advance technical skills to design, develop, test and maintain reporting and visualization business solutions as per requirements. This role will develop (a) Business Objects universe development and security map maintenance, and (b) Tableau interactive dashboards. The BI Developer Specialist will work closely with business analysts, data developers, architects and customers to develop scalable solutions within TH technology stack and suggest leading industry trends for enhanced end user experience. This role will also act as a mentor to fellow Junior BI Developers in helping to create a sustainable data warehouse ecosystem. Technical Skills (1) Business Objects including 360 suite (2) Tableau (3) DB – Teradata or Oracle (4) Experience in Dimensional Model (5) Expert level SQL writing skills (6) SQL query plan – performance tuning experience (7) Healthcare Clinical data expertise a plus but not required (8) US citizen or green card holder company Large health care system.
