Bartender

Looking for experienced bartenders to work our brand new VIP lounge opening up in early fall. Responsible for set-up and break down of all equipment on an event basis. Greet and serve guests food/drink as they arrive while following our customer service policies. Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared and delivered on a timely basis. Observes bar area to ensure guests are satisfied with their food/drinks service, responds to additional requests. Must be a team player. Good customer service skills. Availability on nights and weekends is a must. Experience in a similar role or field is strongly encouraged. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Greets and takes guest drink/food orders. Produce guest drink orders, cash handling, credit card processing Stocks product in bar; ensures that inventory levels of supplies are maintained Reports all needed bar repairs to the supervisor. Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must be pleasant, courteous with ability to adhere to the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to work cooperatively with others Ability to make multiple common cocktails and other alcoholic drinks Abililty to adhere to strict identification process Basic math skills for counting inventory Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 50 lbs. Ability to pull carts/cages with bar/service equipment Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during entire length of shift ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Bar, noise level may be moderate to high Nothing in this job description restricts the management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities on this job at any time.
