Senior Systems Engineer/Architect - Top Secret

OVERVIEW We are currently seeking a senior engineer/architect to provide subject matter expertise for the Resilient Enterprise Ground (REG) future architecture tasks as they are related to the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) and Launch and Test Range System (LTRS). GENERAL DUTIES Provide DoD SATCOM operations expertise Define projects to arrive at the REG end-state architecture Reply to quick taskers from the Government in all areas of Resilient Enterprise Ground Provide communication network modeling expertise in the areas of long haul comm, cloud computing, and commercial/civil agency connectivity Interface with SMC customer via briefings, meeting and technical discussions Create, present and update Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) views as required Provide satellite analytical modeling expertise to assist in the analysis of space loading on the future REG network Experience in communications network modeling concepts including link analysis of latency, bandwidth, bottlenecks parameters Ability to understand orbital mechanics Ability to evaluate architecture alternatives against stated requirements and known limitations QUALIFICATIONS 7 years of experience working for a government customer 5 years of experience in the development of operational and system architectures IAW DoDAF 2.0 Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field CLEARANCE Active Top Secret Security Clearance
